Dr. Joe Mondry has been a licensed Physical Therapist since 1989, obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.  He obtained his Master of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions, the Allied Health affiliate of Harvard Medical School. 

Dr. Mondry is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  He is a Certified Cancer Exercise Specialist, obtaining his training through the University of Northern Colorado Cancer Rehabilitation Institute.  He is also a Certified Cancer Specialist and Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist obtaining this training through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Dr. Mondry is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist receiving his training through Klose Training

Dr. Mondry was previously a professional instructor of continuing education courses teaching orthopedic and manual therapy concepts to other Physical Therapists and Physicians. He has served as a Guest Lecturer at many local universities regarding cancer and exercise prescription. He has also presented at professional conferences, including the California Annual Physical Therapy Conference. He is a published author regarding prescriptive exercise and lymphedema in Topics in Rehabilitation Topics in Geriatrics.

Dr. Mondry also served as a Peer Reviewer of medical treatment for seven insurance and managed care companies, as well as third party administrators.

His expertise includes completing over 20 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) courses regarding the topics of oncology, cancer rehabilitation, and exercise prescription. He also has completed 18 CEU courses regarding the topics of business and management concepts.

Dr. Mondry has worked in varied clinical setting that includes multiple private practices, hospital inpatient / outpatient departments and hospital satellite clinics, as well as free-standing outpatient clinics. Dr. Mondry was recognized by two separate organizations as the Manager / Leader of the Quarter and has been recognized for excellence in business operations by being awarded multiple Center of Recognized Excellence (CORE) Awards. As a Department, he was awarded 10 CORE Awards in four years under the categories of Quality (4), Finance (3), People (2), and Service (1). As part of a Work Team, he also was awarded CORE Awards for the category of Finance (2). As an Individual, he was awarded CORE Awards for both the Quality (1) and People (1) categories. Much of this success comes from the utilization of his Black Belt Certificate in Six Sigma Process Improvement.
